Help your child speak Telugu, ten minutes a day

Your child understands Ammamma but answers in English. Paluku Kids is a planned web app where a child hears a Telugu word in a native voice, says it out loud, and gets gentle feedback. The parent owns the account, and your child’s voice is never stored.

Built around speaking, not tapping

Say it out loud

Each lesson is a handful of everyday words and short phrases: family, food, numbers, festivals, and things to say on a call with grandparents. The child listens, then speaks.

Gentle word-match feedback

After each try the app will show “matched”, “almost” or “let’s try again together”. It is lenient on purpose. No timers, no streaks to lose, no red crosses.

Voice never stored

Audio is processed in memory to work out the result, then discarded. We keep only the per-word result. There are no recordings for anyone to replay.

What a session will look like

The planned flow for a child of about 4 to 10, on a parent’s phone, tablet or laptop.
  1. 1

    Listen

A native Telugu speaker says the word. Telugu script is shown large, with English letters you can switch on.
  2. 2

    Hold and say it

The child holds a big button and speaks. The microphone is on only while the button is held.
  3. 3

    Smile and move on

Feedback appears, a star is earned, and the next word comes up. About ten minutes covers a lesson.
